It is a wonderful cookbook. Lots of recipes, decent cook-able recipes..
Instructions are easy to follow, and ingredients are not too esoteric.
One can learn a lot just from reading, but cooking your way through it is more fun. Guess I gotta live a long time!

Excellent book, nothing far out or too difficult, much the same as "The Joj of Cooking". I only wish that they had used metric in the measurments or used both. 1080 Recipes is an excellent basic text for Spanish cooking. It has innumerable fish recipes that are both tasty and simple. Once the basic techniques are mastered the recipes alow for considerable innovation. A good addition to anyone's library of cookbooks.Book Review: Great book

I bought this book as present for a serious foodie / cook. She loved the book, she said it's very comprehensive and it's was a great addition to her collection. The only thing I wish was different from this book is that I hoped it had more illustrations.
