Book Reviews of 125 Best Cupcake RecipesBook Review: dry cupcakes Summary: 3 Stars
If you're looking for gourmet cupcakes, you won't find any here. If you enjoy home-style cupcakes that remind you of your childhood, or if you're cooking for kids, you might find some you like. I was disappointed in the book.
I agree with the other reviewer who said that the results are tasty but they were dry and dense.
Book Review: Yummy! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a beautiful book. Easy to read and easy to follow directions. Lots of recipes that can be mixed and matched to create well over 125 combinations. Excellent. Great, original flavor combinations with beautiful photographs. I highly reccommend it. I can't wait for her pie book to hit the market!
Book Review: Quick and easy Summary: 4 Stars
I love this book, each recipe has frosting suggestions underneath & a sidebar that contains tips and variations. I've baked over half the recipes in the book, whether it's pumpkin, banana, very vanilla chocolate chip, mango coconut, pineapple or chocolate all the cupcakes are quick, easy and delicious.
Book Review: Great Cupcakes!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I am on my fifth recipe in this cookbook. Every recipe has been great. They are all different. If you follow the very precise instructions you can not go wrong. Most all of the recipes make 12 cupcakes, which is good to try all the recipes. I am waiting on bananas to ripen to try my sixth batch.
Book Review: Brand New Baker Loves this Book Summary: 5 Stars
I had never baked in my life prior to 125 Best Cupcake Recipes! I have made Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cupcakes, Mini Cheesecakes, and Chocolate Chip Coookie Cupcakes, too. I made them all just by following the easy instructions. Nothing was too difficult, even though it was from scratch!
