Book Reviews of 74 Seaside Avenue (Cedar Cove, Book 7)Book Review: Beauty and the Geek Summary: 4 Stars
Love this series, but probably of all the Cedar Cove characters Bobby Polgar is my least favorite. Bobby is a little too nerdy for someone as sophisticated as Teri, but still the story wasn't boring. The storylines involving Rachel, Lynette and Olivia were my favorites. The teaser at the end of the book setting up the next book in the series definitely leaves you anticipating the next installment. Keep the books coming, Debbie!
Book Review: 74 Seaside Avenue Summary: 4 Stars
I am a huge fan of Debbie Macomber and her books especially her cedar grove collection. This 7th book in the series starts out slowly but by the 75th-100th page, the reading becomes fast paced and the storyline is riveting. As soon as you get into this book, the book ends leaving you panting for more until the 8th book in this series is released next September 2008! Enjoy! Tara from Brooklyn, NY
Book Review: Not my cup of tea Summary: 3 Stars
I went into the romance department of the bookstore and picked out this book. This is my first (and probably last) novel by this writer. It just simply wasn't what I was looking for in a summer read. For me, I wasn't really interested in these characters. I didn't find myself wanting to know more and some of the characters were too similar and the women seemed to have confidence issues.
Book Review: Debbie Macomber does it again Summary: 4 Stars
I have been enthralled with the Cedar Cove series since the first one. Debbie Macomber sets up a mystery and solves it while introducing other characters with their secrets and joys. You can read each book by itself, but I recommend that you read them from the very beginning. Debbie Macomber's imagery is outstanding- I can picture Cedar Cove as if it were a real place, with real people.
Book Review: 74 Seaside Avenue Summary: 5 Stars
I enjoyed it very much. Her books are very clean (language & morals) and I can pass them on to my daughters. She has lots of different stories going on. Each chapter tells a story about a different charactor, and they all come together at the end. Her books come in a series acording to the address. (Lowest number first.)
