Book Reviews of 7th Heaven (Women's Murder Club)Book Review: Not very good Summary: 2 Stars
I love the Women's Murder Club TV show, and some of Patterson's early books, so my mom got this for me as a gift. It's a very fast read, as every chapter is only a few short pages. A lot of the book didn't make much sense, though, and 2 separate murder mysteries are thrown together. I was creeped out that one of the psychos in the book is a murder mystery author, apparently patterned after the author Patterson himself. The ending was lame. I liked one of the 2 mysteries in the book (fire starters) but not the other (missing rich kid with heart defect). I think the characters and the dialogue are much better on the TV show.
Book Review: It's About Time Summary: 5 Stars
James Patterson and Maxine Paetro have finally caught up to the Alex Cross series with this 7th version of the Women's Murder Club! I've been a bit disappointed with his last few books but 7th Heaven had me from the first page. When you thought you knew what was happening, they turned the page on you and kicked it into high gear. I literally could not put this book down. I've always been a huge fan of JP and will most likely read anything he writes but its always fun to be happy after you've read the last page of a book and I was truly satisfied. One thing about the book: could have given more insight about Hawk & Pidge!
Book Review: A great Patterson romp of a read! Page turner. Summary: 5 Stars
I'm on page 75 and want to convey the excitement of reading this book. Can't visit long, therefore.
This is what we have been waiting for what with all the co-authored books and deviations from mystery writing, etc. They were fine - but this is what we were waiting for. Our book club will enjoy including this on the list for next year's books. Our Club has favorite authors, and Patterson is certainly one of them. He has two or three others in the hopper that are ready or being working on now. Will look forward to them, too.
'S'cuse; There's a heck of a book I have to get back to.
Book Review: LOVED IT Summary: 5 Stars
James Patterson is my favorite author, and this Womens Murder club series is the best. All of the 7 novels are page turners and every time I finish one I impatiently wait for him to write the next one. If you're like me, I'm sure you'll enjoy the love stories too. "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" and "Sams Letters to Jennifer" --They're my second favorite--- But oh man the twists and all that makes James Patterson HIM.. i love it..
Can't wait for #8, "Sundays at Tiffany's", and "Sail" to come out!!!
Book Review: I Like it! Good read for series junkies! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this series - I give it 5 stars!
This book is a great addition, I like that Lindsay's character has been developing and moves along in 7th Heaven. When I first read the jacket cover I hoped he was not going to turn the series into a Stephanie Plum read-a-like! The characters are strong and I would hate to see the books get hung up on Lindsay getting married or not - she can be married and the series will only get stronger.
Can't wait to see what "the girls" are up to next JP - bring on 8!
