I ordered this book because my daughter had ADHD, and I thought it would be good for Ali to read something designed specifically so that the children themselves can understand what ADHD is, and how it's treated. More importantly, it points out that there is nothing wrong with the child because they have this, and they can know they are not alone. Ali likes the fact that it is understandable, and helps to explain what ADHD is, and how it's treated. I think this book is very beneficial to both parents and children who are wondering about ADHD. We didn't know our daughter had a problem until her teacher asked us to get the ADHD checklists from our family physician. Now, Ali gets straight A's in school, and we don't get nasty notes from her teacher about Ali's inability to sit still in class.
