What is Christmas without a christmas book from Debbie Macomber. I have been reading her Cedar Cove series and when I saw this one I had to buy it. Loved it! Once you start reading you can't put it down. This book only has 10 chapters so you can read it in one sitting. The story is an old one. It is taken from the Nativity story but set in modern times. It incorporates some of the everyday citizens who live in Cedar Cove and introduces new characters. You'll love this book.Book Review: Sweet and Predictable

This is such a sweet story, and I understand that the author was trying to parallel the nativity story, but because of this fact some things were pretty predictable. I might have enjoyed the characters more if I had read the other Cedar Cove books, but this was my first. I just started reading this series in the past month and instantly fell in love with the people of Cedar Cove. However, like some other reviewers said this is predictable and is just a quick read. Nothing fantastic, nothing about the main character stands out. A little disappointed and I definently wouldn't purchase this book at list price.Book Review: Cute & light reading

Sure it was hokie, but nice light reading. I liked it and passed it on to a friend to read. I love the Cedar Grove characters and am glad she added a love interest for Mack McFee. I don't always get a lot of time to read with a 4 1/2 year old daughter, so it was perfect reading for me. Thanks Debbie for your great stories!Book Review: Cute but Predictable

How can you resist a Christmas book? Tis the Season!! Love this series, it was a nice addition very cute but predictable, didn't have that much spice in it, but I cannot wait to see what David Rhodes has to say. Grace is just charming as always, and Mack is a nice addition, cannot wait to see how they are to Cedar Cove.
