Book Reviews of A+ Certification All-in-One Exam GuideBook Review: All I needed to pass the exam! Summary: 4 Stars
This book got me through the exam quite well. I had not even been employed as a tech, but only building and fixing PC's as a hobby when I decided to work toward certification. I spent a month reading this book and taking notes and passed the exam no problem. I struggled a bit with the old network technology questions (pre-ethernet stuff) but I don't believe it was a lack of info in the book, but rather my laziness in studying.
Book Review: only one i used Summary: 4 Stars
I just wanted to say that although I passed both tests first time, I found that there was several questions on the test that were not covered in the book at all. If it were not for my previous personal experience with computers I would of been hard pressed to pass. To sum up, If you have a solid tech background, this book with lots reading can help you to pass. If your starting from scratch, you need more to find more info.

Book Review: Noone can be perfect Summary: 4 Stars
There is a lot of material in this book, and it is a very solid study tool. If you don't know where to start in preparing for this exam, this is exactly what you need. Be aware though, that since there is so much material to cover, not everything can be described in detail. In my test experience, 20% of the questions seemed to come from nowhere, or from a topic that was only vaguely touched upon in this book.
Book Review: Easy reading Summary: 4 Stars
The author has a pleasant way of presenting the content of the book.
This book, contrary to other books, has lots of photographs to give the reader an adequate visual concept of what to look for.
The glossery section is good, yet a little too compact at times.
This book has more "how to " sections than most books I've read.
Personally I would like to see a more info on networking.
