Book Review: First time with B. Small and last!!!

If I want a book about Porn I will go to that section of the bookstore if I want history I will look it up.
What a waste of time this was for me. I gave it 2 stars for Adair's childhood. Other than that this book was repetitive. For a 446 page "Novel" it seems she only had a 200 page book and tried to drag out and repeat everything to meet a quota so to speak. This book contradicts itself. With her second husband she had pleasure but then with Conal she had pleasure the first time. Cruelty what in the world. I am looking for an escape from everyday things we hear about that makes life cruel. Being beat, we heard about Adair being beat when she was captured, almost raped in explicit detail by Willie Douglas and Alpin Bruce. The wet nurse explicitly knowing how her son and husband got killed and came into the service of Adair and Conal. If I had to hear one more time who sired her and who her family was, her title, her lands her second husband and so on. Let me not get started on "HONEY LOVE" after every sentence and cheesy. I can think of a lot more suitable endearments other than that. The good characters in this book was Richard of Gloucester, Elsbeth "Nursie", and Andrew. Conal was a joke. He was stupid, not very heroic and just not at all interesting like a hero is supposed to be.
Now the most disturbing parts of this book to me was that ok she has sex with Conal Bruce the first time its in detail fine the second time in detail fine but to go into explicit detail of the same old thing over and over and over again was boring I get it they had a great sex life every night they lived. I hate the "F" word and to read it so many times during this book was very raunchy and tacky. When the time came for Prince James to have sex with the village whore come on really did we have to hear about Duncan joining in and that they were taking turns she loved it and him entering her rear passage and the next morning how she got "f"ed so hard and so good and so much in one night.
This book was distastfully done with nothing but raunchy porn. This is a waste of money and time don't waste any of it.
