This young women, Annabelle Worthington, has dominated overcoming odds against here. Born into a society of privileged families, her life becomes a challenge and faces it alone. First, the tragedy of the sinking Titanic took the lives of those she loved. To escape from her grief she buried herself with volunteer work at hospitals and became fascinated with medicine. Then, betrayed by her first love. His scandal and secret made Annabelle the target of underserving shame by society and scorned by her best friend. She felt no reason to stay in New York and leaves for France to aid those injured during the First World War. As she worked at a grounds field hospital run by all women she realize it was her true calling to be a doctor and decides to pursue her studies in medicine. Yet another encounter, that is most horrifying and violent scars Annabelle emotionally and physically. But she makes a selfless decision, and moves on with an untold experience.
When the war ended, it was a fresh start for Annabelle, now a doctor and a mother, she decides to permanently stay in Paris and open her own practice. Close to forgetting her past, she is confronted by fate she will have to face her life she left behind. She was told not to be daunted by those that labeled her unfairly and remind herself through her triumphs it had only proved that she is indeed " A Good Woman".
