A friend sent me a link to Duirwaigh Gallery(pronounced "Door way") and A Knock on the Door last year. I clicked the link and fell head over heels in love with film. The images, the music, and the inspirational quotes combine in a thoroughly mesmerizing,enchanting,uplifting spiritual experience.
It touches a place in the heart that is easy to neglect as one grows up. But this magically powerful little clip can bring healing tears and smiles - allowing one to remember childlike wonder and joy. It continues to be an inspiration to me as I pursue my own muse.
Everyone to whom I have sent the link has been inspired or transformed by A Knock at the Door. I was delighted when I could buy it for my own along with the beautifully rendered book. The book and the film are small, but larger than life. The DVD faithfully reproduces the film and the Duirwaigh elves went to great lengths to ensure the book was a quality reproduction. Well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.
