Book Review: Another Good One in the Merry G. Series
Summary: 4 Stars
In the line up of Merry Gentry books I give this one a 4 of 5 stars. I have no clue what the title of the book has to do with the book but hey... This book actually had a little more substance and a little less 'sex' then some of the others and for that I am appreciative. I would like this book even more if the 'f' word were left out a time or 2 along with a few other words/descriptions. None-the-less, I loved the plot, the rescues, the love, the sneaking into the court, the intermix of human & fey - Nicely done - I can't wait for the next in the series!!Book Review: MEREDITH GENTRY BOOK # 6

A LICK OF FROST by Laurell Hamilton is the sixth book in the Meredith Gentry series. Meredith Gentry,Princess Meredith NicEssus, weilder of the hands of flesh and blood, granddaughter of Uar the Cruel,and human is a unique character. I am greatly enjoying this series and for me this sixth one is one of the better ones. Will the princess become Queen of the Unseelie or the Seelie. I will she get pregnant as asked? This book is fantastic! For Meredith Gentry fans, this book provides some twists, some results i would have never guessed!!! Full of surprises it is- wonderful ones and...necessary ones- this book made me want the next one so bad that waiting for the paperback of the next one is waaay to long!

Book Review: LKH getting back on her game?

Well not quite - this book still has some of the flaws the last LKH books have had. Too much sex and long-winded conversations. Still the plot actually moves along in this book which hasn't happened the the MG or AB books in quite a while. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for down and dirty sex, but enough is enough. Lets hope she keeps moving back towards real substance in her writing because I miss original LKH style.Book Review: Can't wait for Book 7

I love this series. I really enjoy Meredith's personality and the way her powers are developing. It's also been really engrossing to see how her life is pulled along by all these outside forces and she somehow manages to keep her head above water so to speak. I love her main squeezes! Can't decide who my favorite is - they are all delicious!!! I hope the series continues despite some of the complainers.
