Book Reviews of A Lick of Frost (Meredith Gentry, Book 6)Book Review: Better than several of the previous books... Summary: 4 Stars
This one was better than several of the previous books in the series. It had a better plot, was faster-paced, and had less unnecessary mid-action dialogue. It still had a few slow spots where a little too much politics, dialogue, and overly detailed (not erotically-written) sex scenes, but the action and better plot overcame some of that. Hopefully the next book will continue the upward trend.
Book Review: Book 6 of a fantastic, additive series Summary: 5 Stars
The Meredith Gentry series is highly addictive. Hamilton has created an amazing fantasy world, so engaging you'll never want the book to end. You'll need to read the 5 books before this one to have the relevant background for the story line, but don't let that stop you from considering the series. Once you read one, you'll order them all. A fantastic find.
Book Review: Confused Summary: 2 Stars
This is the first one of the series that I have read, but I don't think I will read anymore to try to figure out what is going on. This book is just weird and doesn't make any sense and I even if I had read the other books I think I would still be confused and how she is prego with so many fathers my interest went downhill from there.
Book Review: My favorite Merry Gentry book!! Summary: 4 Stars
(Very Mild Spoilers) This book was awesome!! Def. my favorite of the series, i even liked it better than Swallowing Darkness. The ending was so sad I actually cried, but I was really happy too. The whole ordeal with King Taranius and the rescue was excellent. The whole book was just a great read.
Book Review: A Lick of Frost (Meredith Gentry, Book 6) Summary: 5 Stars
I could not put this book down! I read it in less than two days. Laurell Hamilton is one of the best authors out there and I recommend the Meredith Gentry series to anyone who loves the supernatural.
