Book Reviews of A Prisoner of BirthBook Review: rickweisheimer Summary: 5 Stars
I've read a lot of Jeffrey Archer books and having just finished A Prisoner of Birth, I think it's his best. There is a fascinating main plot along with many secondary ones to keep you guessing and surprised to the final page. Archer has to be among the very best fiction writers. Buy this book, you won't be disappointed. Be parepared to lose sleep because once you've started it, you won't be able to put it down.
Book Review: A page turner Summary: 4 Stars
Archer's A Prisoner of Birth certainly will hold your interest from page one. He's good at that. It's a problem solving book which also provides background on the British legal and court system. Don't look for any deep understanding of the human condition. Archer is not a philosopher just a good story teller. Archer also comes up with a plausible ending which many current popular writers cannot do.
Book Review: Wonderful book Summary: 5 Stars
Jeffrey Archer was one of my favorite authors before this book, and this may be his best.
I have given all my friends a double your money back guarantee on this book (which I do very rarely) and no one has yet collected.
I would also recommend reading his book A Prison Diary (about his time in prison), from which you can see several characters emerge into his work of fiction.
Book Review: Cant put down this one!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Prisoner of Birth is the best book by Archer and one of the best I have read in a long time. I simply could not put down this book till the end... The flow is great and there is never a dull moment. You want to keep reading to find out what happens next. It does not bore you with too many legal details which a Grisham book surely does. I would recommend this book to all!!!!
Book Review: Archer is losing it! Summary: 2 Stars
I have read all of Jeffery Archer's books and usually find them terrific. This one, however, is a real loser. The story makes little sense, the characters are unbelievable and it is difficult to stay with it. The character switch in prison makes one wonder how anybody could fall for such a thing. The story just falls flat. Don't waste your time on this one.
