Book Review: Good and compiles only the best of the best but leaves a few essential plugins aside..

Being an electronic musician myself, I have a good collection of plugins and virtual instruments. But when I need to know if there are better options or other alternatives this book really helps. It features introduction to major plugin and platform formats for both mac and pc, then delves further into the details of each plugin, which provides very helpful and comprehensive information. The pictures are in full color with graphic animations captured , so you get to know the interface and their working principles. Some of the major plugins not reviewed are native instruments Kontakt which is on version 2 now, the best and most powerfull and flexible soft sampler on the market now, plus how could he ignore PSP plugins like vintage warmer and mastering q. Other than these omiisions I think you have a handy encyclopediac reference, so four stars it is. Lets hope that future versions include more essential plugins.
