Book Review: A Simple Dark Story
Summary: 3 Stars
I can't say that I liked this book very much. It hardly seems like it was written by the same man as _The Ruins_. Although I suppose they were both books that basically consisted of one bad thing after another happening... I don't now. I thought that Smith did a good job of really getting into Hank's head, of justifying his motivations... but after what happened with Jacob, I just couldn't get reabsorbed into the story. It wasn't bad per se, but it certainly wasn't good! And the ending!!! Ach....
Summary of A Simple Plan
It All Seemed So Simple...Two brothers and their friend stumble upon the wreckage of a plane?the pilot is dead and his duffle bag contains four million dollars in cash. The men agree to hide, keep and share the fortune. But what started off as a simple plan slowly devolves into a gruesome nightmare none of them can control.
