Book Review: Not appropriate for young children

This was given to our son for his 1st birthday. If I actually let him near the book he would destroy it in seconds as the paper that the pop-ups are made of is quite flimsy. Totally inappropriate for young children. Whenever kids know how to be very gentle - then they'd be OK with this book, though I still would not recommend it. I only tried to open a few pages and often the way one letter is supposed to morph into another either did not glide well or was hard to even figure out which letters they were supposed to be.
