Book Reviews of Accidentally YoursBook Review: SuperMom has arrived! Summary: 5 Stars
What a wonderful story Ms Mallery has given us! It will make a usual blah January a great month!.....Accidentally Yours makes you laugh, cry and close the book with happy feelings!..... Our H/h Kerri and Nathan have such a good chemistry! Kerri Sullivan's unrelenting push for the research money for Gillar's Disease has seen her through several bad years so far and now Nathan King seems to be the answer to her prayers. Nathan isn't such a soft touch but can understand what Kerri wants. The secondary cast of characters are so good too...... I hate to say anymore I'm afraid I'll give something away and you don't want that either, honest! Enjoy the book!
Book Review: Stayed up too late reading! Summary: 5 Stars
I was hesitant to buy this book based on the premise - it seemed as if it had the capacity to be too heavy for what I normally prefer to read. I'll be honest, I'm a glutton for happy endings, and I was scared for a while that this one would turn out sad but I just finished it this morning and am more than pleased with it. Overall it is a great story that really draws you in - Mallery's characterization is wonderful, and as Nathan goes through his own internal struggle (though Kerri and Cody's is more visible) your heart will break and mend along with his. I totally fell in love with all of these characters - this is one I'll be re-reading for sure.
Book Review: Wow Summary: 5 Stars
This was the first book I've read this year and it's going to be extremely hard to beat. I'm not going to review the storyline, others had already done it here, but I had to say how much I absolutely loved this book. Accidentally Yours is a story that will stay with me for a long time. It's the kind of book that touches the heart. Poignant. Will make you think about the important things in life. Will make you believe in miracles. Any book that can do that, IMHO, is a miracle in itself. This puts Susan Mallery up there with the best of the best.
Book Review: ONE FOR THE KEEPER SHELF Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book!! The characters were interesting and funny, and I even liked the kid(I usually don't like it when the characters already have children). I smiled a lot while reading this, but I also teared up towards the end. I couldn't put the book down and I read it in one day. It also makes you want to hug your children and appreciate them being healthy. My only little complaint is that I would have liked one more love scene, but oh well. Highly recommend this book. You won't regret buying it.
Book Review: chelegh Summary: 3 Stars
Since most of the comments contained an overview of this story I'll refrain from adding to it. I am usually a fan of Susan Mallery, but this book was not her finest. It started out great, very exciting but then the story goes downhill from there. It is very slow and boring I could not wait to get to the end of it. I must say though, the ending was romantic and satisfying, it doesn't just end with hero/heroine kissing, but lets the reader know how they end up a few years down the road.
