I've been using Photoshop for many years, but this book surprises me chapter after chapter with all the hidden tools I never knew existed, or tools I didn't know how to use such as the variations tool in adjustments and the quick select tool. Deke McClelland has provided much needed details on "how to" that Adobe does not. The book's illustrations are very clearly explained, concise and the examples are great. This book is the answer to anyone's questions about InDesign. It is well worth the money and the illustrated DVD is an added bonus plus. I would recommend this book to anyone just starting out learning InDesign.Book Review: very helpful

Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is there is little content on graphic creation. There is a chapter dedicated to it, but I was hoping for a little more. The chapter is very helpful though. As far as learning how to edit photos with Photoshop- it could not be more helpful- it covers everything! And the CD that comes with the book is incredibly helpful as well.Book Review: Best CS3 book out there!

I have tried many cs3 books to use to get started in the photoshop world. This book is the only one that introduces it and teaches it in a way that is perfect for one who has never used photoshop before. But, it also has great advanced techniques for the virtuosos out their. The vidoes included with the book help out a lot as well.Great Buy.Book Review: Missing disk with book

the book i received was in excellent condition that is something i was very pleased with. but one thing that it did not come with is the cd with all the lessons without this cd you are not able to do any of the lessons this book is trying to teach you so i suggest if your are planing to purchase this book MAKE SURE THE BOOK COMES WITH THE CD
