I bought these for Christmas 2008 for my grand-daughter. Unfortunately the book came but the calendar was out of stock. Had to get it from a foreign supplier, arrived in January 2009, and was very expensive on its own. The current price for book + calendar is a real deal.
The book and calendar are made to go together beautifully. Wonderful art work in both. The calendar's pictures mirror those of the stories, which are short to match a young child's attention span and religious in nature. These are keepsake items that can be pulled out and re-read every year during Advent. The calendar is a heavy cardboard stock but can be easily re-used year after year. Highly recommended!
