Book Review: GREAT "US" DISCOVERY TOOL FOR OPEN MINDED COUPLES
Summary: 5 Stars

My husband and I loved filling out this book... I noticed some reviewers were not happy with the book and I think the problem is the fact that troubled couples are expecting to be able to fix their relationship by filling out intimate questions... A BOOK WILL NOT FIX YOUR PROBLEMS, only truth and acceptance will set you free! That said, I think it was nice for me to get to know my husband better...I enjoyed reading answers that confirmed how much I know him and enjoyed even more to read new stuff about him... We are all evolving human beings, and certainly, we've both changed since we first met...so there is always something new to learn. We had some encounters when filling out "hard to face" questions, but came out cleaner and closer than ever. A MUST FOR EVERY COUPLE WILLING TO DIVE DEEPER INTO EACH OTHER'S MIND. It worked so well for us and had so much fun that MY HUSBAND ended up buying the ALL ABOUT ME books for us this Christmas, and we are loving it. GOOD LUCK and keep your mind open... !

Book Review: Makes a beautiful gift
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved filling out this book for my boyfriend.

--Note to the guys: your girlfriend would FLIP if you did this for her!--

What I liked most about it was that it wasn't too mushy or lovey-dovey- the questions and topics (like, "your most impressive sexual talent") would keep my guy interested in reading through it. It's actually interesting and engaging. Also, I like that it is only multiple choice, one-word or one-sentence answers, so it doesn't take forever and you don't have to be THAT original or poetic. It's designed for 2 people to fill out (one is A, one is B), so each can provide their own answer. My idea was to fill this out and give it to my boyfriend for Christmas, with a note requesting that he fill out his part and give it back to me for next Christmas.

If you're looking for something unique, fun and special to give to your other half (or a way to bond by going through it together) this is the way to go!

Book Review: Spectacular, but be open-minded
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this book to try and open up some lines of communication with my long-term boyfriend who tends to freeze up when talking about serious matters or practices "selective hearing" when we talk about our problems. I thought that maybe if it was WRITTEN DOWN he couldn't misconstrue anything. Well, I was right.

At the end of the first section of this book it asks both you and your partner if you are willing to accept what this book reveals. If either of you would answer no, don't go through with it. My boyfriend and I got through about nine pages before he said he had to take a break, and we hadn't even gotten to the really serious questions yet.

I think that this book asks questions you wouldn't normally ask or have a hard time talking about. They are straight forward and while some of them are just fun, many are very serious and potentially hurtful answers could result from them. Just be prepared. I would definetly recommend it.

Book Review: Enlightened Journey
Summary: 5 Stars

This little red book, All About US, provided many hours of reminiscence into the joys of our relationships past experiences, present activities and future adventures. Too often couples become complacent or caught up in the fast pace of today's world, and we forget the Simple Joys that bind us together.

It is so much fun exploring each other's thoughts and perceptions on various situations; especially since we each remember each circumstance so differently. My husband & I would bring out the book before we retired for the evening and we shared so many great emotions together.

I highly recommend this book since it is designed to give you the "Ah ha" moment many times over; the "ah-ha" reminds you why you love this person and why you enjoy having this person in your life.

Book Review: Not for couples still in love
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this book with the hopes that my husband and I could mail it back and forth during his deployment to Iraq in order to stay connected. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem this book is for people who have been faithful to each other or who are deeply in love. There are questions such as "list three qualities you wish your partner had" and "Have you committed an indiscretion on vacation or business trip that you have never revealed to your partner?"

Far too many "check one box" answers, which don't allow for expressing individual feelings or sharing memories.

This book seems like it's more for couples with unresolved issues, or ones that are trying to save their marriage.

Definitely not for the happily-in-love--you'll find a lot of it doesn't apply.
