I really hoped to love these books. Perhaps I will like the actual readers more than these alphabet books. The books are dinky. They are small, not well bound, paperback books. They looks really cheap. They are arranged alphabetically, which you think makes sense, but since each booklet covers a couple letters, the system doesn't work well if you aren't teaching the letters in alphabetical order. (We are using The Ordinary Parent's Guide To Teach Reading.) When we are covering the letter A, I have to read the AB book, instead of just A.
