Having always been a HUGE fan of Tony Curtis, i couldn't wait to get this book; and it doesn't disappoint; Details of his childhood thru the move to California and beyond, you get to really know this man, his inner demons and his good fortunes too ! i enjoyed his writing style, like sitting in the room with him telling a story.. HIGHLY recommended reading if you are into autobiographies...
Book Review: Terrific Memoir Summary: 5 Stars
Great book at a great price. It was delivered quickly and in prefect condition. If you are a Tony Curtis fan I highly recommend this book. He speaks freely of his life and being a Hollywood star. If you like the "behind the scenes" glimpse of Hollywood then you will like this book. Tony Curtis was a great actor and personality and he will be missed. He lived an incredible and amazing life.
Book Review: Loved the Book Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. I've been a huge Tony Curtis fan most of my life and I read it in 2 days, could hardly put it down. Thought he was very honest throughout the book. Saw the "Turtlenecks" play in Detroit that he mentions, was horrible but great to see him in person. I learned a lot I didn't know about him, just loved the book and will keep it for the pictures - he was so, so handsome.
Book Review: What a waste of money Summary: 1 Stars
This is a terrible book. Every page is filled with Tony Curtis' conquests, who he slept with when. If a female moved he considered her a target. What a huge ego this man has. I was looking for more of a history of Hollywood, written with taste and good sense, that is not what this book is about. I don't recommend this book to anyone. The Robert Wagner book is much better.
Book Review: Tony Curtis has never been better! Summary: 5 Stars
I thoroughly enjoyed American Prince. I have always liked Tony Curtis, but now I have an even better appreciation for him. Tony covers everything from his childhood, to making it in Hollywood and everything in between. He is not afraid to name names. The American Prince is not into trashing anyone, however he does tell it like it is, and I found the book a great read.
