Book Reviews of Anastasia (The Ringing Cedars, Book 1)

Book Review: Ridiculous Fairytale
Summary: 1 Stars

I cannot believe how many people gave this book 5 stars! It's totaly unbelievable and downright silly.
Anastasia is a super woman who can leap tall trees, has no need for shelter and no need to store food. She eats blades of grass and squirrels bring her nuts even in winter. She doesn't even have a hut and barely needs clothes. Yet she lives in the Siberian Tiaga where temperatures have been recorded as low as -72F. For goodness sake even animals look for shelter.
Her wisdon is preposterous!
I am an avid reader of spiritual and metaphysical ideas but this book did not arouse in me "good and radiant feelings" only boredom and the awarness that I wasted my money.

Book Review: Get this book!
Summary: 5 Stars

Out of all the books I read this one probably has had the biggest impact on me so far. It doesn't matter if the story described in the book really took place or if Anastasia really exists. It is Anastasia's viewpoint on God, Nature and Man's destiny what really matters. Direct answers are given here to these eternal questions by down-to-earth personality of a woman living in the depths of taiga. It is totally up to you to agree or not to agree with her viewpoint, but they are life's most important questions and the book gives you another chance to think about them. More so, to think about them in the uplifting and positive way. I highly recommend the book.

Book Review: Merely a middle-aged man's fantasy
Summary: 1 Stars

I have to report that this book is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. It reads like a middle-aged man's fantasy of a young, beautiful, innocent-yet-wise woman who will have sex with him, show him the wonders of her world, and frolic in the forest like a wood nymph (she is forever twirling around, leaping, diving into the water, and treating the animals like how you would see a Disney princess treating them - like subservient placid pets (even wild wolves and bears!)). The character Anastasia seems to be based on the character Ayla from the Earth's Children series by Jean Auel. Those books are a much better read, don't waste your money on this one.

Book Review: Enlighten Yourself!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've only gotten 1/2 way through this book, and find it to be so full of intelligence! I'm going through it slowly (and I don't do much of anything, slowly) because there is so much to absorb. It's not only a pleasure to read, I know that it is a catalyst that is also activating parts of my consciousness that will make a tremendous difference in how I percieve this life, and live. I can't even begin to imagine what a gift the whole series is. If it's drawing you . . . DON'T HESITATE! To quote a favorite song by Jason Mraz . . . "Open your mind and see like me . . . open your mind and MAN, YOU'RE FREE!"

Book Review: The perfect woman!
Summary: 4 Stars

This book is a page turner. I'm sure male readers will picture Anastasia as a super model but without the foxy attitude. It does sound more like fiction though, but it could be due to the writer's style. I can see why some people get nice feelings from reading it. Some of the things Anastasia talks about (according to the author), such as putting a seed under your tongue before planting it and stepping on its soil with bare feet, are things we should try just to see if it works. Nevertheless, I may be beyond help since I haven't been (as some readers have) inspired to write any poems yet.
