I recently purchased this book because of a loss of a beloved pet. It helped me deal with my grief and gave me a better understanding of what happens when a pet passes on to the other side. I would recommend this book to anyone that has suffered the loss of their pet. It's also very helpful for children too, because it gave my daughter a peaceful feeling.Book Review: Horribly tacky design

Being a designer I was appalled at the layout and illustrations of this book. The type is set in screamingly large comic sans and the pastel illustrations look like they were done by a blind six year old. I got this for my mother thinking it was a legitimate book but found it was a picture book. I wish I could give this book less than one star.Book Review: Animals on the Other Side

Never before have I read a book that has comforted me so. When my cat, Era, passed on he left me with many unanswered questions that only he could answer. After reading this wonderful book, I now know that he is with me and my questions will be answered in due time. I had already read the reviews before purchasing this book. It is geared toward children, as well as adults. We all grieve when our beloved pets leave us in this plane of life. My dog, Keesha, walks with me in spirit. This book inspired me with peaceful thoughts of what is to come (in Sylvia Browne's version).
