Book Review: Excellent Anti-Cancer Information
Summary: 5 Stars

With a close family member in relapse with cancer again, I was glad to find this information from Dr. David S-S. His own personal story of two bouts with brain cancer, and then his heroic battle to regain health from several angles could change your life. As a medical doctor and psychiatrist, Dr. S-S imparts his cancer fighting mechandisms using nutrition, exercise, mental and emotional health suggestions. Check out his lecture on You Tube - the 58 minute one.
I bought the 7 CD set but also received a copy of the book as a gift. I had already changed many things in my life nutritionally, but because of this book I have added more changes: I only eat grass-fed meat (small amounts) and drink milk from grass-fed cows, use Omega 3 eggs and butter and organic fruits and vegetables almost exclusively. I have not conquered sugar, but am working on it, and now use very little of it. I have added Asian cuisine to my Mediterranean diet as well.
Never does he suggest that you ignore traditional cancer therapy. His ideas are complementary to chemo and radiotherapy. He wants you to improve your "terrain", something you'll understand when you read the book or listen to the CD's.
I am sorry Dr. S-S is not a believer and cannot see how God worked in his life to bring so much nutritional information as well as mental and physical ideas to him and then gave him a way to share all that with the world. Maybe, as Anna said, "Someday you will understand...."
This is not junk science. It's good solid information with a zillion documented references from medical and scientific journals cited (in the book). The book is smooth-flowing, and the CD's well read. It's out on loan now, but before I loaned it, I kept it in my car's CD player and listened for weeks. There's just so much information, and some wonderful stories with happy endings.
Someday, traditional cancer treatment will complement other treatment and we'll have a lot more happy endings. It's hard work, and you must deny yourself, but you won't go back to the old ways.
