Book Review: GREAT map for exploring Arizona

I used this map when exploring Arizona on two separate occasions. Delorme makes these maps for nearly all states in the US. If you're ever going to explore a state - USE THIS MAP by Delorme. It's well organized, provides information on parks, unique spots like waterfalls, historical sites, etc. You can also find obscure roads not normally seen on tourist maps. I bought the Delorme maps for Colorado, New York, and Virginia as well.Book Review: DeLorme is great

I have purchased these for Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado and Utah so far. They are great to take along on a road trip as they are very detailed and show you where so much is. Elevation, rivers, places to camp etc are just a few of the things in these books. I will continue to buy other states based in the western U.S. as I plan to continue to take road trips.Book Review: Hit the Arizona Highways!

Arizona is a spectacular state. There is so much to explore, from the Grand Canyon to old mining town of Bisbee. North to south, east to west, this atlas will get you where you want to go. These Delorme Atlas & Gazetters are wondeful. They show you many features not available through GPS, maps or other atlases. It is a great feature to have the BLM lands marked as well as the back roads. Good resources are also included in each states atlas. Great Product! Nearly as good as having a seperate map for every county in the whole state.
I like it best because I can read the text much easier than a state map, especially in low light. My bifocals are OK for reading but not the fine details of most maps.
