This book may be the only astrological book you'll need to counsel your mid-life crisis clients! Profoundly transformative, this book offers incredibly detailed explanations of the motivations, including past life and karmaic influences, for each of the 12 signs the North Node can fall in. It also offers a North Node sign determination page, so you know by just glancing at a table what your client's North Node sign is. If you only buy this book to read the 20 or more pages of information and guidance on your own sign, it's well worth the money for the guidance! You'd have to find a very rare astrologer who knows this info, and pay them 2 to 5 times as much for a one time reading. This book focuses on the Moon's Nodes from the point of view of reincarnation; however, you don't need to believe in reincarnation to benefit from this text. The author summarizes her extensive experience with many clients in interpreting their Nodes. Her delineations ring true and there is much of value in what she has to say. I found this book much more focused and detailed than her previous book called Spirtual Astrology (which was rather general and vague). It is well written and certainly well worth reading. She deals only with the house and sign placements of the Nodes and promises to publish another book on aspects involving the Nodes (which I hope she publishes soon).Book Review: The Missing Piece for students of Astrology!!! This is my 2nd copy of this book. When I first purchased it a few years back, I couldn't put it down!!!
I knew barely a thing about the Nodes and was amazed at the impact and influence regarding Karma.
What I read about my Node for the first time, it was like the first time I had experienced Astrology itself. Instant Awareness and Connection to the Source.
What amazed me the most was how long I had gone unaware of this aspect of the Astrology Chart and its importance.
This book is an ABSOLUTE MUST! for anyone learning about Astrology. Your study will remain incomplete without the knowledge of the Nodes and their influence in our lives.

Reading Jan Spiller is like a pleasant astrological version of going to the dentist. Drill here! Polish this section! By discovering how good you can feel following your North Node (ie your higher side) she makes it easier for people to stay on track in their lives. Once you've read it you'll immediately notice how much calmer and fulfilled people are when they use their North Node energies - and how much they annoy themselves and others when they unconsciously stick to South Node ways. I suspect that when people fall in love with certain partners who "bring out their best", the other person's chart is actually activating their North Node - hence making them feel "on path".Book Review: Ohmigod, Jan Spiller is astonishing!

For anyone -- expert astrologer or beginner -- read this book to learn how the location of the Moon's Nodes in a person's natal chart impacts them and their experience of Life. Jan Spiller has described the nodal effects so brilliantly, the chapter on each Node pair can lend phenomenally helpful information on any person who has just that one piece of information about her/himself. Written beautifully, and without much "insider" languaging, this book is FABULOUS for getting a grasp of one's Life's foundations. It felt as though the chapter on my Nodes was written Just For Me -- and I can't tell you how many times I've heard other people say the same thing!
