While AutoCAD is not directly associated with Office 2000, the AutoCAD object model is now a powerful tool with VBA behind it, allowing graphic designers to control their environment programmatically. It is therefore to be released concurrently with the other Wrox Office 2000 Programmer References. Using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the user can program his or her own programs in what is essentially a subset of the Visual Basic programming languages.
