Book Reviews of BRS Physiology (Board Review Series)Book Review: Survival for Medical School Physiology Summary: 5 Stars
Medical School professors often get lost in the details when they try to teach basic physiology. This book is essentail to for surviving and finding the important details. the questions in the back of each chapter are very good.
Book Review: Great review book although not enough for first time physiology study. Summary: 5 Stars
Great book to review physiology once you've taken the course and read a physiology textbook. Not enough detail to rely on for passing a medical school physiology course (so don't skip the textbook and just buy the BRS!!).
Book Review: The questions are not USMLE type questions Summary: 3 Stars
This book is good for learning physiology. But you must not depend on the questions part. Questions look as if they were prepared in a haste just to be done for the sake of form. A lot of questions that don't teach much.
Book Review: Great. Summary: 5 Stars
This book came highly recommended from an upperclassman. It's short, sweet, and to the point. It presents medical physiology in a clear and logical manner, making it easy to understand and assimilate.
Book Review: Physiology Summary: 5 Stars
This book is fabulous!!! It's one of the best physiology books I've read. I highly encourage purchasing it. Plus, it's a great FNP board review book with great questions at the end of the chapters!
