Book Review: THIS BOOK WAS EXCLUSIVES ONLY

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE NEXT BOOK LISTED A LITTLE DIFFERENT. THE ONE BOOK IS ONLY STORE EXCLUSIVES. THE 2008 BOOK IS ALMOST HOW I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE BUT IT IS MISSING BARBIES FROM STORE EXCLUSIVES AND OTHER DOLLS. I THINK THE NEXT BOOK SHOULD CARRY ALL OF THE DOLLS IN ONE BOOK! THIS BOOK REPRESENTS THE STORE EXCLUSIVES ONLY. WHICH MEANS WHAT EVER DOLL SOLD AT TOYS-R-US ONLY OR TARGET, ECT. BUT ANOTHER BOOK HAD THE SAME DOLL IN EACH OF THEM? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IN ONE BOOK IT CAN BE A STORE EXCLUSIVE, THE NEXT BOOK IT MIGHT BE A DESIGNER ONLY DOLL AND THEN IT IS NOT IN THE OTHER BOOK AT ALL. OTHER THAN THAT MIKE'S BOOKS ARE AWESOME WHERE HE GETS SOME OF HIS PRICING IS BEYOND ME? ONE YEAR THE DOLL'S VALUE IS $100.00 AND THE NEXT YEAR HE HAS THE DOLL AT $55.00? ALSO HE IS MISSING A FEW DOLLS IN SOME OF HIS BOOKS AND THEN THEY ARE PLACED IN THE NEXT BOOK ISSUED? WHY??? I HOPE HIS 2009 BOOK WILL BE THE GREATEST ONE TO COME YET. I WAS HOPING IT WAS ON LINE NOW, BUT I GUESS IT WILL BE PUT ON LATER. KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP MIKE. SEE YOU AT THE CONVENTION.

From AAFES to Zeller's, this is the only book you will ever need to identify and value your retailer exclusive Barbie dolls! This book includes all retail exclusives since 1972, when Montgomery Ward issued their own 'original Barbie' on the occasion of their 100th anniversary. As of 2004 over 90 retailers have sold a Barbie exclusive at one time. This exhaustive book includes all of those retailers and their treasures, and many dolls feature close-ups for ease in identification. Over 500 dolls not shown in previous editions have been added to this volume, along with 60 new fashions. There are 2,525 color photos featuring 1,365 dolls and 280 fashions. Fans of Barbie doll's little sister Kelly will be delighted to learn that over 100 Kelly dolls have been added, making this a great Kelly reference as well. Some of the latest retailers to join the exclusives bandwagon include Big Lots, Dollar General, Hard Rock Cafe, Mary Kay Cosmetics, the Mattel Store, See's Candies, and Walgreen's.
