Book Review: A lil disappointed

I had high hopes for this book, but it did fall a lil short of my expectations. The instructions that are in the book are great and detailed (I would have liked the patterns to be a lil larger, some of the symbols are hard to see) and the photos are very nice.
Where it falls short is the amount of instructions and what is Missing from the instructions. This book has Great finished projects shown as the examples, but only shows you how to do the main sections of each design. Take the cover for instance, there is this great veiled woman necklace with cool straps and some awesome fringe... you look up that pattern in the book and you only get instructions on making the face part. No instructions or materials list on how to do the straps (they were made and designed by someone else, not the author) and no instructions or materials list on how to do the cool fringe (again, they were made and designed by someone else, not the author). One of the designs is a very pretty elvish girl with pretty lil white flowers and vines/leaves all over her (one of the reasons I bought the book!) and up into the straps but again, only instructions and materials list for the main face part with NO instructions on any of the flowers/vines/leaves (again, the person who made the example piece embellished Big Time on the main design).
The author did a very good job on the main sections though, I would have just liked to see some instructions on all the interesting finishing touches that are shown in the examples.
