I have borrowed this book out to 5 people since I bought it and almost didn't get it back from the last person. :} I taught a class on this too! Woman need to hear the truth about what is in our makeup and lotions and what it is doing to us. This book is great for everyone not just the people that want to hear the truth about the Bible. So don't let the title scare you. It educates one on the "poisons" that we as women are subjecting ourselves to just because we want to be BEAUTIFUL! I'm still reading through this book and the short devotionals, but I have already started some of the regimin. I like the idea of cleansing and mositurizing with simple ingredients. So far my skin looks pretty good. My face isn't dry like it usually gets in the winter, and without the commerical moisturizers; most of which burn when applied to dry skin. I'm curious to see how it will do in the summer when my skin is more oily.Book Review: Beauty secrets

I did see the title of the book was "Beauty Secrets from the bible", but did not expect more than half of the book to contain quotes from the bible. Nothing against religion, but that was supposed to be a book about beauty secrets.Wast of money. If somebody is really interested in natural beauty recipes I would suggest the book "Return to beauty" - Excellent book, lots of information, lots of recipes!

I recommend this book to anyone wanting to get away from questionable ingredients in cosmetics and go all natural. Recently, I read an article on WebMD that supports the author's claims about toxins in beauty products and what they do to you. I am trying her suggestions and so far love the results. If these tips were good enough for Queen Esther and Cleopatra, they are good enough for me!
