Book Reviews of Bestfeeding: How to Breastfeed Your Baby

Book Review: Very helpful book!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I had a midwife reccomend this book to me 17 years ago. I could not afford to buy the book so I checked it out at the public library. This book gave me the courage to keep going and continue to breastfeed my son even when it was very hard at the beginning. The advice in invaluable and the pictures very helpful. I would re-check this book out after each baby I had. Now that I can afford to buy the book, I have purchased it several times as a shower gift to the 1st time mom's that I know.

Book Review: I researched them all - this one's THE BEST
Summary: 5 Stars

I felt so overwhelmed when my son was born, that I checked out all the recommended books on breastfeeding provided by the hospital (15 of them). This one was the best: it was clear, it was helpful, and it provided truly useful advice. The pictures & photos with the right & wrong way to do things are awesome. Helped me have confidence!

Book Review: There isn't a better breastfeeding book!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

The older edition is the best: illustrations depict what they are talking about to eliminate any confusion and helped me and my baby nurse better (and 3 times longer!) than with my first daughter. I was disappointed to find the new version didn't do as good of a job with the "do" and "don't" pictures...

Book Review: Good, useful, full of pictures
Summary: 4 Stars

It's a very good and informative book. It focuses mainly on latch, which is certainly a huge part of successful breastfeeding. It includes detailed troubleshooting information and several mom's stories of overcoming problems. It is poorly edited though, with lots of spelling errors like foot rather than food and such instead of suck, but it's easy to look past those. The pictures and diagrams are wonderful.
