Book Reviews of Better Than SteroidsBook Review: Consolidated medical facts Summary: 4 Stars
As with some other reviews I feel this information is not necessarily ground breaking. But, I do believe this book is worth the cost and time to read. Yes the information very well may be available for free on the internet, but at what cost in time hunting and searching and evaluating? The cost of this book is worth it to keep me from spending my time on forums and medical sites attempting to put all the info together myself. It has been given to the reader in an easy to understand format and lays out quality plans that can be implemented quickly. I may not be a huge bodybuilder, but the knowledge gained in this book still helps reach goals faster.
Book Review: One of the best books on eating right Summary: 5 Stars
When I got this book I went through it page by page and was not able to put it down until I finished it. This is truly an awesome book that teaches you the most important thing about eating and that is Timing. I had no idea what I was doing wrong before. I did not change what I ate, just the timing of it. I learned the most important meals and when to eat them. Ever since I started implementing this book according to my body type, I have been losing 1% body fat a week. I lost 4 pants sizes in a month. It is out of this world.
Thank you Dr. Warren Willey.
Book Review: Life Changing Summary: 5 Stars
I recieved this book for Christmas this year and it is life changing.
I have lifted for 15 years with very miniscule results. I have been implementing the techniques in this book, particulary the pre and postworkout drinks, for about 2 months now. I just got on one of those blood pressure thingies at the store and couldn't get my arm in! I am natural for life since I am afraid of prison rape and don't want hormone replacement when I am older, so this book is a godsend. It really works!
No Bull!!!
Book Review: Excellent Diet Advice for Any Sport or Anybody. Summary: 5 Stars
The title is a bit off putting, but I found the advice to be concise, reasonable and straight to the point. The author, Dr. Willey, has made dietary concepts fairly simple to understand.
I'm a cyclist, and the dietary advice in the book applies just the same as it does to body building. What you eat, and when you eat it is important. I'd say the concepts apply to everyone who is watching their weight and their muscle, whether to lose, gain or stay the same.
