Book Reviews of Better Than SteroidsBook Review: Changed the way I look at food. Breaks down eating into a science to sculpt your body. Summary: 5 Stars
Great Book. He explains the actions of the body and what type of foods should be eaten to help maximize what the body is already trying to do. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this book to people who don't get at least SOME excercise because the whole point of leaning up or building muscle requires that you do your fair share too. Its not a get thin or big quick book, its a tool to use the right foods to maximize your actions to meet your goals. A+
Book Review: Donuts as a recovery food?? Summary: 3 Stars
I am using the title as a "hook", because I thought it was a really novel idea to include this in a book, and I enjoyed the author's ideas. The text doesn't flow extremely smoothly, but the chapters are short and most readers aren't expecting a literary masterpiece.
Interesting ideas, concise, specific, and to the point. Down to earth yet far-reaching in scope.
One of several recommended books to build your body without steroids.
Book Review: Great for beginners, basic for pros Summary: 4 Stars
For the beginner this book is indispensible as it introduces you to the basics of bodybuilding from a dieting and measuring standpoint. I found that even myself learned a few things that if asked previously would or should have seemed like common knowledge. If youve been in the game for a long time now you prob wont get much from it as scientifically it is very basic and simple. Overall i think worthy of a place in your library.
Book Review: Bad Review? Summary: 5 Stars
The bad reviews given were by people who already knew much of the information in this book. While there is nothing groundbreaking in this book, it is very well written, easy to follow, and a great book for the novice or intermediate bodybuilder. This book has information on nutrition, training, and supplements. If you are not an advanced bodybuilder or have not read much on this sport, you WILL benefit from this book!
Book Review: Best Bodybuilding Nutrition Book Out There Summary: 5 Stars
There are many, many books out there on nutrition and bodybuilding. There is none better than Dr. Willey's book for the novice, intermediate or advanced bodybuilder. For those who are not devout lifters, I would recommend Dr. Willey's new book, The Z Diet. Quit spending your money on quick fixes, only to return to your "soft self." Follow his advice and you will become a much leaner and healthier person.
