Fun Cook Book for kids!! I am tring to have my 9 yr old be excited about food choices and cooking. This book makes it fun and easy to follow for her. I love how they describe different ways to cook, & show the food pyramid. Her 2 yunger sisters are also able to enjoy the book aswell. This book is very kid friendly for cooking. Pictures are appealing, recipes are normal down to earth for kids just starting out to cook. Pages can be wiped off of splatters and the book is quality. ruggedly bound. I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He was so excited. It has fun pictures of the food. It definetly isn't something that he can tackle on his own but he easily look at the pictures and tell some of the things he needs to make the recipes. This makes a really lovely gift for a kid. I gave it with a handmade apron and some kitchen tools for my niece who is learning to cook (age 9). It's sturdy and practical, and has PICTURES! This is a great beginner's cookbook for children. I bought it for my 4 yr. old granddaughter and even though she can't read yet she's able to follow the recipes. She couldn't wait to start cooking. The recipes are all simple ingredients and appealing even to adults.
