Book Reviews of Betty Crocker's Slow Cooker CookbookBook Review: Good eats for time harried people Summary: 5 Stars
This is a must have cookbook if you work, but still want a good meal waiting for youwhen you come home at night. Gives some interesting alternatives to standing over a stove waiting for dinner to cook. Even has a few surprises. A must have for new cooks.
Book Review: check it out at the library first Summary: 3 Stars
The recipes are mediocre. It's too old-fashioned for me. I don't like the "throw a can of condensed soup in" kind of cooking. I really prefer either "Good Housekeeping"s slow cooker cookbook or "Slow Cookers for Dummies"
Book Review: Good Summary: 3 Stars
The delivery was quick. The package was secure. The cookbook for slow cookers is ok. It has a lot of recipies, many simple, but it did not contain exactly what i wanted. However, it did have other recipes I wouldn't have thought about making.
Book Review: OK at best Summary: 3 Stars
The book itself is nice - spiral bound for easy use and the recipes are clear. Some of the dishes I tried turned out tasteless, even though they smelled great cooking all day. I expected a lot given the book was a 'Betty Crocker'.
Book Review: Excellent Working Mom's Recipes Summary: 4 Stars
Wonderful receipes for moms on the go! Very easy to use, descriptive, and even offers suggestions on how to serve the leftovers. Have not found one recipe that my family has not enjoyed! I have recommended this book to everyone!
