Book Review: a little disappointed

was a little disappointed in the contents of this book. i was looking specifically for variations of shots i already make. i guess i like shots that aren't made with heavy liquors like most of these recipes. i prefer less ingredient shots. this would better suited to beginner shot drinkers who don't know any better. that said i've made up my mind that since i bought this book i will try a few recipes , hopefully they won't come back up as fast as they go down. bottoms up! here goes......whatever. wish me well... not sick.Book Review: Vast combinations of sweet nectar!

Ok, great book, great content. You'll have a blast going thru this book and learning these recipes. One downside... As a few reviews have stated, there are some very obscure liquers and ingrdients in these recipes, I can honestly say I've never heard of a few. haha So to take full advantage, you'd better have a pretty stocked up bar, regardless, I'm still giving this a 5 star read, because I'm rating it as a recipe book, which is exactly what it is. I bought this book on a whim and am very pleased. I am actually purchasing another copy for my sister. When she comes to visit we break out this book, one of us mixes the shots while the other is looking for the next recipe to try. We have so many post-its marking the pages of our favorite shots. This book has lots of recipes, is loads of fun, and is small enough to take with you. A must have for any home bar or liquor cabinet.Book Review: this book leaves you thirsty for more

Book Review: A "Must Have" for anyone who hosts parties often

Bought it for a friend who could really use it while on the road to share with others and expand his alcohol erudition. Not sure how far he is yet in the alphabetically-listed line up.
Easy to use - all the shot names are in alphabetical order and directions are simple. You don't have to be a certified mixologist to understand how to make them.
