Book Reviews of BittenBook Review: Incredible debut novel Summary: 5 Stars
I have to admit I put off reading this book for a few years because the synopsis sounded a bit too much like my own female werewolf-themed novel. I'm glad I didn't continue to deprive myself. Armstrong shows she is a master storyteller.
It's been a long, long time since I've read a book with such vivid characterization. When I closed "Bitten" I really felt as if I'd bid old friends a farewell and was sad I wouldn't be seeing them again for a while. Elena and her pack are superbly developed people who seem as real as the people living next door.
Fortunately, "Bitten" is just the first installment of Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series. I look forward to Elena and her friends jumping off my bookshelf soon so we can have a long reunion.
Book Review: One book you never wanted to end. Summary: 5 Stars
Normally I don't get into paranormal books featuring werewolves, but Armstrongs book was captivating. The story was fast paced and kept you in suspence until you were right on the edge of being driven crazy with it. The story was unique and the plot equally so. It held you in and didn't let go and if the plot wouldn't have of the characters would've. The relationships between all the characters were believable and even the minor ones were very well fleshed out. Each with a unique voice and tale. This was on ride you didn't want to ever see end. A excellent read for everyone.
Book Review: BITTEN and entranced by this book!! Summary: 5 Stars
I cannot say enough good things about this book. It's intelligent, witty and very hard to put down. Once I started this book I devoured it(no pun intended). Kelley Armstrong is a strong writer with a good thing going here. Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf, is a strong and idependent woman who wishes to be free of her 'Pack', who is drawn back in, is well written. I just recieved Stolen in the mail today and cannot wait to seen what is in store for Miss Elena Michaels. Go out and buy this book, it is worth the money and your time.
Book Review: It's really good.. Summary: 5 Stars
I don't usually like books about werewolves...
Armstrong really took time to develop the characters, and the story leaves you wanting more. It's been a couple weeks since I read the book, but I am still wanting to read more about Elena and Clay and Jeremy. I already ordered the next book and am waiting for it to arrive.
Book Review: Couldn't put it down Summary: 5 Stars
After reading the Men of the Otherworld book, I couldn't wait to read the first book in the series, Bitten. I was not disapointed. I loved the main charcter, Elena. It was refreshing to read about a women as the lead character that doesn't need to be saved by a man all the time.
