Book Review: Ok but not as good as some others

I bought this in conjunction with several other books, including Goodnight Moon, Barnyard Dance, Peek-A-Hoo, Silly Sally, Time for Bed and Is your Mama a Lama. Compared to those books, this one is not that good. My daughter is 2, so maybe she is too old for this book. In all, I think there are better books out there and definitely better books by Sandra Boynton.Book Review: What a Fantastic Book!

My little guy (now almost three) would laugh out loud at this book at a bit over a year old. Now he "reads" it to me, practicing his colors and clothing items as he goes. He still cracks up at the oops on every page, and now delights in telling me what is wrong with how the turkey wears his clothes. All of the Boynton books are great, but this one is a must.Book Review: Boynton books are awesome!!

The Boynton books were my son's first favorite books. (Mine too I must admit) This one, in particular, is a favorite because it covers colors and clothing names as well as a silly story about how the clothes are supposed to be worn with a Turkey doing some silly things with the clothes. We are still reading this book over and over. It's a definite favorite.Book Review: Not my favorite but daughter still liked it

This story didn't have the rhyming in it like most of her others she has written. When I read it to my daughter though and when the animal kept putting the clothes on wrong and said "Oops" I would say it loud surprising her and she thought it was funny and would start to point out where the clothing was suppose to go, so it was somewhat educational at least.Book Review: Blue Hat, Green Hat

A delightful book. The youngest children can mimic the rhythm and join in on the "oops!" refrain. Preschoolers appreciate the humor of the fumbling turkey and enjoy "reading" this simple narrative to others. Parents who read the book countless times a day are grateful for the simple humor and hilarious illustrations. This board book makes a great gift.
