Book Reviews of Boston's Gun Bible

Book Review: The Standard By Which To Judge All Other Gun Books
Summary: 5 Stars

Boston's Gun Bible is the most comprehensive book on guns that I have ever seen. There are chapters on gun safety, gun laws, tactics and training, and on what to do after you have used a gun against an assailant. Boston breaks down the history of combat arms and then goes on to modern weapons. There are several chapters where he rates the best rifles out there today, giving their pro's and con's, so that you can make an informed decision on which one(s) would be best for you. Rifles aren't the only firearms he discusses. Handguns and shotguns are discussed in detail as well.
Everything you need to know about guns, ammunition, and shooting accessories--short of what you would learn at the firing range through experience--Boston teaches you all in this one book. It's a great deal. This information is worth the book's weight in gold--and these days that's saying something.
The last half of the book is focused on a responsible gun owner's relationship with society and government and is full of excellent advice. You'll be able to tell that the subject was well researched and that the author has plenty of experience. Put that to work for you. Everything is presented in a way that is easy to understand.
Whether you have never fired a gun in your life or you're a seasoned pro, whether you are a man or a woman; this is THE book to buy if you want to know anything about guns and gun employment.
I'm a marine scout sniper, and I learned a few things from it too.
Also check out Boston's other books. They are all very good and quite informative.

Book Review: BTP Gun Bible
Summary: 5 Stars

I recieved a copy of this from my thoughtful brother. It is all things guns. Many subjects are not exhaustively covered, but Boston is generous with his conclusions and provides reccomendations to complete the research on your own. Although I have always felt that the second ammendment was important, this book helped me understand why. I have some fence-sitters in my social circle. Boston presents a cerebral, articulate argument for gun rights.

I noticed other reviewers complain about Bostons writing style. HUH? Hundreds of pages of dry material became interesting as I read it through the authors eyes. Boston held my attention on the subject of MATH! Something public schools couldnt achieve. The amount of research compiled in one place will save you a lot of time and money. Boston is unapolegetic about his opinions. I noticed he calls them as he sees them. He even bruises some of his peers because he feels obligated to tell it like it is. (Jeff Coopers scout rifle)I like that. Thats right. a Peer.

I find myself reading and re-reading this book. I think Boston could even write a cookbook that I would enjoy. Are you out there Boston? i have one suggestion. Could you digitally pass out "A letter to a columbine student"? this chapter alone is worth the investment. If it was passed around the internet many people would be surprised to find out how pro- gun they really are. I am positive it would boost book sales as well. And come on! Lets see some more youtube interviews...... Signed, aspiring Rifleman in Western Wa (Go RWVA!)

Book Review: BUY THIS 5 Stars

I picked this book up at a gun show. I only had $40 or so but I was looking anyway. I have always been a reader sooooo, naturally I stumbled onto the book vender. I AM GLAD I BOUGHT THIS BOOK BEFORE I HAD ENOUGH MONEY TO PURCHASE A

This book is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ for anyone/everyone who is considering or already owns a firearm.

I cannot possibly express how much information I have gleaned from these pages. I read it over and over and over and practice everything Boston says to do. He is serious yet writes with a sense of humor I apprectiate and gets the information through in a clear and concise manner.

In this one single book, my entire life changed and I feel I am on my way to RESPONSIBLE, EDUCATED & SAFE firearm bearing and handling (as is my right) -- but he instructs you to get instruction SO DO IT!!!!!!!

There are also several other resourses he mentions to help support you so that WE can remain FREE!

I am just one woman, but no longer do I feel alone in my thoughts and ideas of where our country is heading. WE CAN CHANGE IT!!! WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER -- UNITED WE STAND, remember???

I cannot endorse this book enough. BUY IT. READ IT. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. As Boston says, "Only your life depends on it."

P.S. I paid full cover price at the show (even though the vender said, "I'll knock of a couple of bucks on each book you buy"). Thank you again Boston, I find your book well worth much more than I paid.

Book Review: The Power of the Rifle
Summary: 5 Stars

Boston T. Party certainly covers all the bases on this one ! Pretty amazing book, when you consider the wide range of topics - battle rifles, preparing for TEOTWAWKI, a love of the .308 cartridge, the threat of an all controlling goverment, being armed to the teeth 24/7, gun politics, the lack of Patriots, circumventing the law, etc.

I consider myself pretty well armed, but Boston has a arsenal. Not many can afford such weaponry. But, to his credit, he includes a section on how to arm yourself on a budget, and he continually emphasizes that you must have a large amount of ammo, all the guns in the world are of absolutely no use if your ammo cache isn't up to snuff.

He downplays shotguns and handguns, he likes rifles and to a lesser extent carbines, and he loves to tell you about them! His book also describes the power of the overlooked hunting rifle, a good bolt action .308 or .30-06, with a nice scope is a deadly weapon. The bolt-action rifle doesn't get much attention these days, with everyone overloading their AR 15's with lights, red dots and other gadgets but if you are out in the wide open west, or rural farm land a good scoped rifle will dominate over any AK 47, or AR 15.

A lot of political discussion in this book - gun laws, the ATF, the FBI, Waco, Ruby Ridge, the danger of the Federal Goverment and it's frequent abuse of power, you name it . . . it is all talked about in this book.

Become a Rifleman! Be prepared, and stay vigilant !

Book Review: A valuable guide for any modern civil rights advocate
Summary: 5 Stars

Boston's Gun Bible is a valuable resource for anyone with the least awareness of the nature of our increasingly compromised liberty. Our elected officials pay a lot of lip service to the notions of liberty under which our once proud nation was founded, yet plot daily on how to strip the public of yet more of their freedom. In this sad state of affairs, the aware individual will see that at some point, the last shreds of the Constitution will inevitably be swept away, and that they must therefore decide now which side they will be on at the end of our republic: the side of the enslaved, or the side of the spiritual descendants of the minutemen who fought at Concord & Lexington green. This book is the manual for those who wish to be on the side of the right [which may or may not be the winning side in some future conflagration], but who have little time or money to waste learning things the hard way.

Even if you're as yet undecided as to your support in the fight for freedom this is a valuable read, as while it focuses on the practical, it also has some philosophical arguments that strip away the sophistry of the socialist left.

Last revised in 2002, this book is overdue for a new edition, if for no other reason than all the prices and the bulk of the URLs are hopelessly out of date.

I strongly recommend this book for anyone interested in the realpolitik confronting the patriotic U.S. citizen.
