Book Review: Great Book -- Just some poor printing by publisher

Wonderful and fun book. Keller is back on his form with wonderful descriptions and receipts. His sources would have been better with full snail mail addresses for all. Also, the book has a printing error and for a $50 list price, one should not have to "paste" a sticker to a page about quiches. The publisher should be ashamed. Other than that, this is a shining example of one of America's premier chef's.Book Review: Beautifull Book

I received this wonderful cookbook last week and already tried several recipes, there are wonderfull. The recipes are well written and easy to follow.
It's a Wonderful and fun book, A must have in your cookbook collection. I also bought Simple and Simply Delicious by Sylvie Rocher who also has many french recipes, with those 2 books I'm going to be the master of french cuisine :)
Book Review: Easier than the French Laundry

Ahhh, how refreshing to have a recipe from Thomas Keller that doesn't take 2 days to make. I have eaten at the French Laundry and Bouchon and have attempted the recipes from both books. I bought the this cookbook more for the recipes, but the tips he gives are just as important. I could never just whip something up mid-week out of many top chefs' cookbooks, but you can with Bouchon.Book Review: Great Gift

This is a great book. It is so much more than a cookbook. I have quite a collection of cookbooks and love to read them. This one is very interesting and visually pleasing. If you are looking for a great gift for someone who enjoys food (cooking and/or eating) this is it! The French Laundry Cookbook makes a great companion to this book. I've made quite a few recipes from this book. They could be slightly challenging for people with not so great cooking skills or knowledge. I went to Culinary School, so I have a higher skill level then most. But the recipes are great, food turns out wonderfully. The Roasted Hen is delicious and one of my favorites. Great pictures included as well.
