Book Reviews of Candy Licker: An Urban Erotic TaleBook Review: Bangin Book Brings Out Jellus Babes! Summary: 5 Stars
My, my,my. Candy Licker was just like everybody said it is. BANGING! Completely banging and jellus h8tas just can't take it. I wish I had a man like Knowledge that nuccah was just too paid. I don't know why some people keep comparring Candy Licker to G-Spot because they are two different books so stop looking for more reasons to h8te on Noire. She can't help it that she wrote a banging book that's hot and has a great story. Candy was smart and had a lot going for her and I wish she could have made it to the top without getting hurt so bad but that is life on the streets and just because you see girls in hip hop videos don't mean you should try to be one. Noire your Bronx fans can't wait until the next book is Review: Candy Licker Summary: 3 Stars
I am a fan of Noire's writing but I believe G-Spot was a lot better. These books are not for the squeamish. I loved Candy Licker up to about the last 20 pages. The characters were under developed and I was amazed at how Candy never caught on to the "real" relationship between Knowledge and Hurricane. There were too many loose ends and the showdown between Hurricane and Knowledge was a let down. I was left with more questions than answers and I did not feel sorry for Candy at the end at all. I loved her assertive take charge attitude in the beginning but she turned into a punching bag and never formulated a plan on how to get out of her situation. If you want to read some straight up gritty urban dramas read ANYTHING by K'Wan.
Book Review: More like 3 1/2 stars Summary: 4 Stars
I couldn't wait to read this book after having read G-Spot. Candy Licker and G-Spot were very similiar. I think the book was good but the author needs to change it up.
We meet Candy another damsel in distress. After some earth shattering blows she is saved by Hurricane. Hurricane appears to be everything she needs in a man. Boy, was she wrong. After experiencing the worse abuse a person can imagine she finds love in someone unexpected.
The book contained abuse, betrayal, love, hot steamy sex, and murder. These were the same components of G-Spot. I thought G-Spot was very good, Candy Licker was ok, I hope Thug-a-Licious is better and totally different.
Book Review: It's just Toni B Summary: 5 Stars
Candy Licker was better to mr than G-Spot but why compare the books? It sounds funny to say you loved G-Spot but diss Candy Licker because you think its the same. It doesn't make sense to say that unless you are lying. But whoever The person is who said the people hating on Noire come from RAW their wrong. It's Toni B and company who got kicked out of her group so now she is hating Candy Licker even though she liked it at first and even wrote a review saying she loved it but took it back. To me Gino wasn't nothing held up next to knowledge because that boy was fire all the way around the block and back. Candy Licker was hot and that's all I have to say. I wish Noire a lot of luck with all her books.
Book Review: Avid readers seeks new urban fiction plots. Summary: 3 Stars
If you have never read Noire's first novel G-Spot this will be a treat for you. If you've read G-Spot don't bother buying this book because the story is the same. The character's names are different and the main male character has a different occupation but the story remains the same. Girl has bad upbringing, she meets man too old for her, he rescues her and they have a twisted relationship with not enough sex for her because she's hot and he has sexual performance issues. Girl meets and falls in love with his right hand man. He finds out, wants to kill them both but they outsmart him and live happily ever after. If you read G-Spot you'll be disappointed but if you haven't read Candy Licker and enjoy.
