Book Reviews of CathedralBook Review: That's some mess you left in the Cathedral. Summary: 5 Stars
Nelson DeMille consistantly takes all the right turns when it comes to ending his and this exciting thriller. It's as though we come to know the characters in a real sense. Oddly enough, Cathedral is very believable. Having read almost every book Mr. DeMille has written, I can only hope he continues to write these great novels. Cathedral is an all around hit.
Book Review: confusing Summary: 2 Stars
out of all the demilles, this one was a struggle to read. too many characters, lots of irish lingo, confusing right from the start. read any other demille and you will be better off - i have read them all and this is my least favorite. stick to word of honor, charm school, plum island and the gold coast - you can't go wrong with any of these.
Book Review: Irish terrorism in a New York church Summary: 5 Stars
With its premise of terrorism hitting close to home, DeMille hits all the right marks with this well-crafted story of politics and police in New York, written well before September 11. There is humor, honor, mystery, tension and turnabout.Enjoy this for a compelling yarn that seems almost innocent in today's troubled world of terrorism.
Book Review: DeMille is one of tour he best contemporary fiction writers. Summary: 5 Stars
Cathedral is a fascinating look at the
mind of the terrorist. This book also
describes in minute detail, the history
and structure of one of America's most
famous buildings, St. Patrick's
Cathedral in New York City. The
characters are real and the story is
high drama. You won't want to put the
book down. A great read!
Book Review: So disappointing Summary: 1 Stars
I read Gold Coast, Plum Island, Mayday and then The Lion's Game. Could not wait to start another DeMille book and chose, The Cathedral! I cannot put into words how disappointing this book is. I have struggled with more than half of it and never once after putting it down did I feel like picking it up and continue reading it.
