Book Reviews of Celiac Disease: A Hidden EpidemicBook Review: Great doctor, great book Summary: 5 Stars
I have worked with this doctor and he is truly at the forefront of Celiac Disease and this growing epidemic that is incredibly underdiagnosed. This is a must read for Internal med doctors, gastroenterologists, family practitioners and any patient that has been recently diagnosed with the disease.
Book Review: Insightful Summary: 5 Stars
After having Celiac Disease for almost 25 years, this book was a good review of the state of medicine, thoughts on linkages to other auto-immune diseases as well as diseases in general and the "revised" celiac diet that is used today vs the one I have been on which was stricter.
Book Review: Celiac Disease : A Hidden Epidemic Summary: 4 Stars
This is a very informative book - I learned a good bit about celiac disease that I didn't know. Dr Green has really helped the celiac community with this book, especially the newly diagnosed. It is right up there with other helpful books I've read since I have been diagnosed.
Book Review: Celiac Disease: A Hidden Epidemic Summary: 5 Stars
This book is the most complete and best written that I've read on Celiac Disease. It not only takes on the medical aspect, but also throughly explains this often mis-diagnosed illness and details everything that you've ever wanted to know. It is a gift to Celiac sufferers.
Book Review: Excellent celiac book Summary: 5 Stars
This book, A Hidden Epidemic, by Dr. Peter Green is a very useful book and has much information in it about celiac. I have recommended this to several people new to celiac and they too agree that this has so much information in it relating to celiac. Very helpful.
