Book Reviews of City of Ashes (Mortal Instruments)Book Review: Not one single bad word Summary: 5 Stars
My friend introduced me to this book and couldn't stop talking about it, now I see why. I could not put this book down from the first page I read. I love the world Clare images, the characters are so developed that you know these people to a T. I just couldn't get enough of Clary and Jace even with the weird sibling insect thing that Clare through at us. When I found out that they were brother and sister I actually couldn't read anymore because I was so upset, lol they were just meant to be together. I really could not find a flaw with this book, beside that the second one didn't come out soon enough.
Book Review: FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Cassandra's writing is phenomenal! I love all the twists and turns. She always keeps you wanting to read more. I stayed up all night cause I couldn't put it down. I can't WAIT to see how everything ends up in City of Glass (though I have a pretty good idea) and I'm so excited. I really hope I'm right. I only wish I didn't have to wait a whole year....it's almost as bad as waiting for Breaking Dawn! This series is a must read!!! :-)
Once again I was so frustrated at the end though just like in City of Bones...lets hope she doesn't do that to us with the last installment!
Book Review: Best sequel since Stephenie Meyer and Laurell K. Hamilton Summary: 5 Stars
I don't understand why people keep giving this book bad reviews with tags such as "boring" and "yawn". And what's up with the "plagiarism"? Is there something I'm missing?
This book is the second installment in the Mortal Instrument trilogy. You're left wanting more of Clary and Jace even though their relationship seems wrong and disgusting. you just can't help but want them together. The third book is coming out next March. If you loved the first, and won't be able to wait for the third, wait to read this one or the wait will drive you mad!
Book Review: Almost as good as the first Summary: 3 Stars
I enjoyed the first one in this series, until the very end of the book, so I was waiting for this to come out to see how things ended up. While things are still up in the air, not much has changed. It's an entertaining read, a little predictable, and a little frustrating at parts when you know the characters should be expecting certain things to happen or asking particular questions that are right in their faces, but overall it held my interest. I'm still curious to see how things will end up!
Book Review: crap Summary: 1 Stars
was mislead to believe this was in good, or at-least acceptable condition. got the book quickly the packaging intact, but the book itself was a bio-hazard. black mold on the edge and inside the book!! the pages are still freaking damp!!! the cover was crushed!!!! definitely not a USPS issue but a seller issue. i disinfected my hands and got in contact with someone who could save the book. i wouldn't recommend ya'll for scrap paper if this is the way you treat books.
