Summary: 2 Stars
While the models were "real", had "real" sizes and shapes and did look GREAT in the 'after' photos, I found the text both contradictory and condescending. The book did not (as the cover text indicated) tell us how to find flattering fashions that don't cost a fortune. Also, for MANY of us, there are some aspects to the outfits that are just not realistic. Here in Ohio, where it's COLD...we wear, and will continue to wear, turtlenecks! We'll wear them in primary colors, even!
Much of the rest of this, we already knew...heels elongate us, pleated pants make us all look fat, we quit wearing tapered pants in the 80s all by ourselves, and an A-line skirt works for most everyone.
