Book Review: Jentry's Book Review over Heartland Coming Home
Summary: 5 Stars

Amy and her friend Soraya went on a trail ride with their horses. When they were riding they noticed it looked lioke it was going to rain, but they didn't care because they love to ride! As they were riding they thought that they would go and check on Mrs. Bell, an older lady that lives by herself and has a shetland pony named Sugarfoot that helps around the home. When they arrived at the house thet heard someone singing. They rode around back and found Mrs. Bell in her garden picking vegetables, and with her was Sugarfoot. Amy and Soraya helped her into her house before it started to rain. When they got into the house Mrs. Bell put her arm around Sugarfoot and he lead her around. Mrs. Bell didn't look loke she was doing well. They told her that they shoould leave before it started to rain, but when they walked outside it was already sprinkling. After they left they decided to go to the Mallen's house. At their house there was a beautiful horse that Amy coould not stop talking about to Soraya. To get there it is very dangerous when it is raining because the road they had to take was very narrow and winding, and in either side there were crumbling stones. Amy wanted to see the bay stallion though, so they went ahead. When they arrived at the house it looked empty. The cows and the bay horse were missing. They decided th leave, but they rode around the side of the house, they both thought it was spooky. All of a sudden they started to hear a horse whinny, and then they heard it a second time. Finally Amy heard the direction that it was coming from, it was a barn. Amy got off of Sundance and lead him over to Soraya. Soraya was riding Jasmine. Jasmine was really excited and she kept whinnying back. When Amy went to open the barn door, she wanted to open it quickly, but she didn't because she that the horse would be terrified after being locked up in a dark barn for so long. She could hear the horses hooves pawing at the floor on the other side. His whole body was shaking. She shut the barn door after she saw the horse. Soraya was having trouble with Jasmine and couldn't handle both horses at once. Amy got back on Sundance and they both quickly rode home so Marion, Amy's mom could come and help the horse out. Amy's mom was very good at healing horses and healing hearts! Whrn they arrived back at Amy's place Marion came running out of the tack room. She asked what on earth are you doing? Amy's eyes were wide and her face was pale. Amy told her mom that the they needed to go get it, but her mom knew that it was going to be dangerous since it was pouring down rain. Marion made up her mind and said that she woould go get the trailer so she coould hook it up to the truck!! To find out if they get there on time to get the BEAUTIFUL BAY STALLION read this wonderful and exciting packed book and i can guarentee that you will want to read the next one! This is one of my favorite books, it was great! Thank you for reading my review! And i hope that you read the book because it is ten times as better!

This powerful series follows Amy Fleming through the loss of her mother and her struggle to continue the work at Heartland-a refuge for abused and abandoned horses.

Heartland is a horse farm with the special mission of healing abused or neglected horses and finding them new homes. Fifteen-year-old Amy works alongside her talented mother, a gifted horse trainer who uses techniques similar to those of the trainer in The Horse Whisperer. While rescuing an abandoned stallion in a thunderstorm, Amy's mother is killed when a falling tree hits their car, and everything at Heartland--and everything in Amy's life--is thrown into turmoil. Amy's older sister, Lou, leaves her job to come to Heartland to help, and Amy begins to cope with the new circumstances of her life, relying on her work with her beloved horses to help her face the future without her mom.
