Book Review: Making the Incomprehenable too simplistic/ needs to be more Defined.
Summary: 3 Stars
While having high hopes for this book, it turned out to be a little bit of a let down. Agreed with what one reviewer said as it being "spiritually dead" well maybe not that, but certainly Undefined as a whole the book might as well be called....
"God is all - now everything is ok" though the statement is positive it truly defines nothing - it's message is clear and quite understandable if you allow it to grow on you, and to no avail this is where it falls apart while giving you some nice metaphysical nuggets of insight(?) here's the deal - the book is almost too straight forward am not putting down the intuitive inspirational-nature of the data at all, rather that something so Beyond our finite capacity to understand that which is Infinitely complex.
it immediately paints the picture in mind, "a child is walking by sea a shark jumps out and bites the child's hand off, a parental figure comes by and says.... "sorry son that must hurt, well- hold tight (have faith) and I'll be back in twenty years because consciousness is in control" exactly. apparently consciousness has been around a mighty long time and things still don't look too good. OK if the author is going for a "Perfected Consciousness" i can go along with that, but you see their are many levels of consciousness so where does one even begin? that's up to the reader to figure that out, (or not)
what I have a problem with is the fact critical analysis is not even found centering on questions such as "can consciousness be imperfect/faulty?" what about sentient beings that exist all over the universe(s) who do NOT have good intent i.e. the right "Consciousness" (Human Psychology for example) well, if this is ALL perhaps it is not all "good" a very well written book terrible execution on trying to articulate millions of missing pieces of the cosmological psyche/emotion/purpose of the ONE that put ALL in motion.
But even this statement of perception, as the book would say- is wrong given the fact that the ALL is not anthropomorphic indeed, does not need a "Body" for it is ever expansive "Thought-on-going" yet once again a problem arises how can a thinking, feeling, rational being (no matter what they are) be at peace with this deceleration? simply because the ultimate is the ultimate well what about all other living things that are subjected to this Everlasting Mind? if one cannot see that this is problematic one needs not to bother reading the book.
of course one easily is reminded that the author is not merely delving into some vague human reasoning (not even close) yeah, that I get, but still this gives more questions then answers. at best this is absolutism/self help/metaphysical candy. their are many great reads out there to digest perhaps easier and more to the point then this, However this is still far from being a bad book, very insightful personally just not feeling this one. maybe I need to read it again to get a better feel for it? 3 stars for the effort.

Consciousness Is All is a book on Absolute Reality, sometimes called Infinite Reality. It shows clearly why only Consciousness Itself - also known as the One Self, I Am, Love, Life, the Divine, God, and other terms - is being conscious right here, now. Consciousness is absolutely all there is of all there is. Simply nothing exists outside of, or beyond, Consciousness. As Consciousness is All or One - It thus is not a higher Self, but the only Self. It precludes there being another, lesser consciousness that has to or can become anything. No transformation is necessary or even possible. This shatters the myth of a would-be secondary self struggling to get at-one with a vague "god." Read this book as if It were Consciousness, the One Self, talking to Itself. This is the only "viewpoint" that is valid, true, and actually operating because, truly, the Self is the only One being conscious here, now, so this can be read! Stop and think what a marvelous book it would be if the Self, the One, wrote a book about Itself! What would the One Self say? It couldn't speak of a human struggle of becoming the Self - It could speak only of already being the Self. It wouldn't have to instruct how to get at-one with Itself, because It already is that! All the Self could speak of is Its own Presence - the immediacy of Itself to Itself. It could state only what It already, presently is - Oneness, Wholeness and Perfection. Would that leave you out? Not at all! That Self being conscious here, now, is the only You there is. After You read this book, You will see that now Life is completely new.Personal Transformation Books
