Book Reviews of Cure Unknown: Inside the Lyme EpidemicBook Review: CDC: Please read this book! Summary: 5 Stars
Even after years of suffering with lyme disease, I learned many new things from Weintraub's book. The history and politics that surround this disease still amaze me and she does an excellent job chronicling both along with real life stories of people who suffer or suffered with lyme including herself.
I noted with great interest that Gary Wormser who so opposes the idea of chronic lyme refused to be interviewed. Anyone who has lyme or knows someone with lyme should read this book.

Book Review: Cure Unknown: Inside the Lyme Epidemic Summary: 5 Stars
This author provides a completely unique perspective. She and her family have been deeply affected by this still unknown and understood bacteria, and at the same time she offers her wonderful ability in writing hard science and detective work to provide the most up-to-date book on Chronic Lyme Disease aka Tick-borne Disease. It's science that will grab you, scare you, anger you, make you hopeful, and leave you anxiously waiting for the rest of the story! Fascinating!
Book Review: Cure Unknown Summary: 5 Stars
This was an excellent book. I have recently met the author of the book and it was great to hear about her families struggle with Lyme disease in the book as well as in person. I could tell she spent a lot of time researching her subject. I hope a lot of people read this book so they can find out about this terrible disease and how it is affecting so many families. We need to spend more money on research and training for our doctors.
Book Review: Good book Summary: 4 Stars
It's a good book but was hard for me to follow sometimes. There is a lot of medical jargon and words that my Lyme brain can't comprehend. I skipped over some pages and some chapters just because I couldn't follow it. I may re-read it again once my brain fog starts to wear off. She does have some really great information in it and she talks about all the controversy and everything. Good book for Lyme patients to read.
